The brewing team of Brouwerij Hoop consists of the main brewerPierre-Yves, brewer and assistant brewersStefan,Patrick and Johnny.Bernice completes the team and, as coordinator, arranges all matters surrounding the brewery to keep it running smoothly.

The commercial team consists ofRoy(Marketing & online sales) andAmber(Horeca & Liquor Stores).

HOOP brewery opened its doors in May 2016. The brewery is the first in the Netherlands to have a brand new Caspary brewing installation from Bavaria, Germany. The whole consists of 16 yeast / lager tanks: 7 of 60 hectoliters (HL), 4 of 40 HL and 4 of 20 HL. The brewery's capacity is therefore approximately 8,500 HL per year. The installation is completely custom-built, with complex piping and semi-automatic machines. The storage and filling line is located in the adjacent building, to which a 50 meter long pipeline has been constructed. The beers are filled there in kegs and bottles and labeled with the correct label.

One of the important aspects in the construction of the brewery was the theme of sustainability. That is why more than 300 solar panels have been placed on the roof of the brewery, the restaurant and the office space opposite. Enough to provide you with an 'energy neutral beer'. It tastes the same, but it feels better!
